How to view leads from Leadfeeder in your Salesforce

Work with leads coming to your website by reviewing, filtering, sorting and connecting with accounts or leads in your Salesforce. To get started, open the Salesforce menu and search for "Leadfeeder". Then click the link to open the application.

NOTE:

Make sure that package with at least version 1.4 is installed for your organization.

Get access to your feeds to filter your leads by opening the menu next to "All leads". You can choose one of the existing feeds or even to create "New custom feed".

Functionality like search, filtering based on date range, and sorting by quality or last visit date are some of the options provided for further refining your leads.

Access the detailed information of a lead by selecting a specific visit from the list. A panel will open up, showing information including:

  • Relevant company details (Industry, size, website, social media links, link to view in Leadfeeder)

  • Connection status with Salesforce. User can manage the connection, either by creating or connecting an account or lead in Salesforce, or disconnecting.

  • Detailed visit information such as: visit date, region, source, pages visited and their browsing duration.

  • List of opportunities and tasks sourced from your Salesforce system. You can even create ad-hoc tasks and opportunities right from this panel.

Manage application permissions

During package installation/upgrade you get prompted to select the users that should get access to the package.

  • Install for Admins Only: Accessible only by users with administrative rights in Salesforce. They can adjust the access by inviting more users via "Permission Sets".

  • Install for All Users: Application will be instantly accessible by all users. Restricting the access to application can only be done by removing and repeating the installation process by selecting "Install for Admins Only" or "Install for Specific Profiles".

  • Install for Specific Profiles: Target specific users that later on can be expanded by adding more users via the "Permission Sets".
