Salesforce Integration Connection Statuses

These statuses can help you to repair any Salesforce integration issues.

Integration connections can have two possible status values: Connected or Disconnected.

You can see the status of your integration in your Dealfront Settings by going to the Account tab and clicking Salesforce under the Integrations heading.

If your integration status is Connected, the integration connection is working normally.

If your integration status is Disconnected, something is wrong and the connection is not working as it should.

The "status_reason" indicates what the problem is with the connection. This is visible on the reconnect page.

If your integration says "disconnected" click Reconnect on the right side to see the details and status codes in order to repair the connection.

Please note: You need to be an admin user in Salesforce and Dealfront to fix connection issues.

Here's a list of the known values for status_reason, a description of the error, and how can it be fixed:

authentication_error

The connection between Salesforce and Leadfeeder has failed. Reconnect to Salesforce from your account’s Leadfeeder Settings.

host_not_known

The Salesforce organization is not active. Remove the integration and connect a new organization.

organization_missing

The Salesforce organization is not active. Remove the integration and connect a new organization.

api_disabled:

The REST API is not enabled for your Salesforce Organization. Please contact Salesforce to enable it.

cannot_execute_flow_trigger:

You have a rule in your Salesforce installation that prevents the object from being saved: %{message}. This likely means that some required fields are not set on this object. Configure \"Mandatory custom field defaults\" in your Salesforce integration settings to set these defaults.

cannot_insert_or_update_entity

Salesforce encountered a permissions error. Please ensure your Salesforce user has the proper permissions set, and is an admin user.

duplicates_detected

If you are trying to create a new entity, you must ensure that it is unique.

field_custom_validation_exception

You have a rule in your Salesforce installation that prevents the object from being saved: %{message}. This likely means that some required fields are not set on this object. Configure \"Mandatory custom field defaults\" in your Salesforce integration settings to set these defaults. For example, the field in Salesforce can receive only digits, but Leadfeeder send letters over.

field_integrity_exception

You have a rule in your Salesforce installation that prevents the object from being saved: %{message}. This likely means that some required fields are not set on this object. Configure \"Mandatory custom field defaults\" in your Salesforce integration settings to set these defaults.

insufficient_access_or_read_only

Salesforce encountered a permissions error. Please ensure your Salesforce user has the proper permissions set and is an admin user.

invalid_owner_or_user

Ensure the Salesforce user that created this integration is active.

invalid_picklist_value

You have a rule in your Salesforce installation that prevents the object from being saved: %{message}. This likely means that some required fields are not set on this object. Configure \"Mandatory custom field defaults\" in your Salesforce integration settings to set these defaults.

organization_mismatch

The Salesforce organization you are trying to connect is different than the one currently connected. Remove the integration, and try integrating again.

salesforce_package_not_installed

You must install Leadfeeder's Salesforce package. Please find the instructions here.

request_over_limit

The request could not be completed because you are over your Salesforce daily rate limit. Please try again later.

required_field_missing

You have a rule in your Salesforce installation that prevents the object from being saved: %{message}. This likely means that some required fields are not set on this object. Configure \"Mandatory custom field defaults\" in your Salesforce integration settings to set these defaults.

storage_limit_exceeded

You have exceeded the storage limit of your Salesforce account. You must remove some data or upgrade your plan before creating further entities.
