If you're using Sales Intelligence with Salesforce CRM integration, you have access to our new iFrame integration (aka new company profile view) already. You have to enable the new company profile view by following the instructions given in this article.

This new iFrame provides you with a detailed company data through the updated Company Profile. With improved company and contact enrichment capabilities, the new company profile view leverages the value you get from your existing Salesforce CRM integration. It's easy to setup and reduces any configuration friction.

  • If You Already Have Salesforce Integrated: You will automatically have the new iFrame functionality available. Just follow the instructions given below in this article to set it up in seconds and multifold the value you get from your CRM integration.

  • If You Don't Have Salesforce Integrated Yet or You Are New To The Platform: You'll need to enable Salesforce integration first to access the new company profile view. Please follow this help article to find instructions to integrate your Salesforce CRM with Dealfront.

Why Should You Switch To The New Company Profile View?

  • Streamlined Prospecting for Marketing and Sales Teams: Marketing and sales leaders often create prospect lists based on Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) criteria and assign these lists to sales teams via the CRM. With the new company profile view, sales representatives can access comprehensive company data directly within the CRM without switching between apps. This includes identifying the right contact person, viewing recent company events to use as conversation starters, and getting a complete view of the prospect. This integrated approach eliminates the need to manually search through various sources, saving time and providing immediate insights.

  • Optimizing Contact Data Management Add new contacts to your CRM and enrich existing company and contacts. This approach helps maintain a clean CRM and reduces the ongoing effort required to keep information updated.

  • Enhancing Existing CRM Records: All native integrations primarily focuses on pushing new data into the CRM to create records. Add a new company profile capability to it to enrich existing CRM records with up-to-date information. This allows marketing and sales teams to supplement current records with relevant details, ensuring that their data is always current and actionable.

Let's Get Started!

If you're using the Salesforce CRM integration already, you can access the new Company Profile directly from the CRM's account view. This means:

  • You can enrich company and contact data that is already connected to your CRM.

  • Enrichment fields are dynamically pulled based on your account's configuration settings (Outgoing Field Mapping).

  • You can also add new contacts to your CRM directly from the iFrame window.

Prerequisites

  1. Install or Upgrade the Salesforce Package
Ensure you have the latest version of the Salesforce package installed. You can get it from here.

  2. Installation Settings
During the installation process, select “Install for All Users”:

  3. Finalize Installation

    1. Click “Install”.

    2. Ensure that the option “Yes, grant access to these third-party web sites” is selected, and then click “Continue”:

  4. Wait for the installation to complete before proceeding with the iFrame configuration.

If this is your first time setting up the package, follow these steps after installation:

    1. Go to Dealfront > Account Settings > Overview (Integrations).

    2. Select "Salesforce".

    3. Proceed to the step titled “Authorize Dealfront to access your Salesforce organization”, and click “Connect”.

How to Access the New Company Profile View in Your Salesforce CRM?

  1. Open up an Account in Salesforce and click on the gear icon in the top right corner. Then click on "Edit Page".

  2. On the left menu, find “Dealfront - Company Profile” and drag-n-drop it to the page.

  • If you would like to limit the access of the component to a specific set of users, you can use “Filters” in the Set Component Visibility block on the right side.

3. Click “Save” on the top right corner to apply the changes.

Well done on enabling the new company profile view! Now let's take a look at how to start using it to enhance the value of your Salesforce CRM integration.

How To Use The New Company Profile View?

  • Open a specific Account in Salesforce and you will get the embedded view from Dealfront.

  • Please note, if your user profile has access to more than one Dealfront account, you will get the account selector. If not, you will get immediate access to the Company Profile.

This is how the new company profile view looks in Salesforce. With this new company profile view, you will have access to the following information:

  • Detailed Company Records

Receive useful information about each company such as related employee data, trigger events, latest news, trade register and financials.

  • GDPR-Compliant Employee Data

View employees to a company and synchronize matching contacts with publicly found contact information directly into your CRM.

  • Deep Understanding of Relevant Companies
Signals help you identify current needs among your prospects. You can then use them for successful sales conversations. Financials also give you a deep understanding of your (target) customers.

How to Enrich Your CRM Data?

In today’s data-driven world, having accurate and complete information about your leads and customers is key to successful sales and marketing strategies. Data enrichment is all about improving your existing data by adding useful insights and context, helping you make better decisions and connect more effectively.

The fields eligible for enrichment, along with details on how to enrich a company or contact through the new company profile, can be found in the following help article.
