In Leadfeeder you will see both basic feeds and custom feeds.

Basic feeds are a collection of default feeds that meet certain criteria set by Dealfront.

Custom feeds are feeds that you create yourself. This article explains more about how to create and edit custom feeds.

The purpose of any feed in Leadfeeder is to segment data so you can see the most critical information quickly and easily.

Basic Feeds

The image below shows the list of basic feeds which are present in every Dealfront user's Leadfeeder app.

There are five Basic Feeds in Leadfeeder:

  • All companies: Displays all the identified companies within a selected time frame.

  • Companies assigned to me: Display companies that are assigned to you.

  • Followed companies: Displays companies that you are following. This feed will only appear once you have started to follow companies.

  • New companies: Displays companies that have visited the site for the first time during the selected timeframe.

  • Top companies: Displays identified companies matching these criteria: more than three pageviews from any industry except Telecommunications, not assigned to any user.

You can't edit or remove basic feeds.

Custom Feeds

Custom feeds allow you to see companies that match certain criteria defined by yourself, quickly. For example, they might have visited specific web pages, been located in a particular country, or are from a certain industry.

When you open Leadfeeder, you will see all your feeds in the left hand menu below the Basic feeds and any CRM or Email Marketing specific folders you may have.

Reasons to Create Custom Feeds:

  1. Quickly and easily see the most relevant identified companies for your role or business, so when you log into Leadfeeder, you can jump straight to what's most important.

  2. Subscribe to a feed to receive daily or weekly email alerts about new companies matching your criteria. The purpose of feeds inside Leadfeeder is to segment the data so you can quickly and easily see the information most valuable to you. Custom feeds enable you and your team to efficiently view this information and act upon it to connect, qualify and convert interesting companies visiting your site into won deals.
