What Information Gets Sent to Dynamics 365 If I Integrate It?

This article will tell you what Dealfront is able to send to Dynamics 365 and what is matched (synced) between the two.

When you integrate Dynamics 365 with Dealfront you have a number of different options regarding default fields and customisations for your Dynamics 365 account.

The lists below give the data points that you have available for these customisations and syncs, but be sure to go through the other resources to get a full view of this powerful integration!

Please note: Dealfront syncs data from your CRM once a day.

We can send the following elements to Dynamics 365:

  • Latest Dealfront Visit and View in Dealfront

  • Organisation Name

  • Link to Dealfront

  • Company's website URL

  • Company's city

  • Company's state or province

  • Company's country

  • Company description

  • Number of employees

  • SIC code

  • Customisation:

    • Send visits for Manually Connected identified companies

    • Send visits for Automatically Connected identified companies

    • Send Comments on Identified Company

    • Default Dynamics Stage

    • Default Task Status

    • Default Task Priority

    • Default Opportunity Name

Syncable entities: These are the records that are allowed to be synced between Dynamics 365 and Dealfront. Tasks are dependent on leads and opportunities.

  • Contacts

  • Tasks

  • Opportunities

  • Leads

  • Accounts (they are always synced and can't be customised)

Automations:
When setting up a custom feed automation that sends identified companies to Dynamics 365 you have the ability to configure how they are sent. You can read more about automation here. The fields below are the options and fields available to send to Dynamics 365.


Please note: Create deal and task are only applied to Dealfront companies that are already connected to existing organisations.

  • Create as Account

    • Owner

  • Create as Lead 

    • Owner    

    • Lead contact name

  • Create Opportunity        

    • Owner        

    • Name    

    • Days to set the closing date    

    • Stage

  • Create Task        

    • Owner      

    • Subject          

    • Priority

    • Status

Manual connections: When sending identified companies manually to Dynamics 365 you have the ability to configure them. You can read more about manual connections here. The fields below are the options and fields available to send to Dynamics 365.

  • Connect as an Account  

    • Connect to an existing account    

    • Create a new account

      • Name

      • Owner

  • Connect as a Lead  

    • Connect to an existing Lead        

    • Create a New Lead

      • Owner        

      • Organization        

      • Contact details    

  • New visits are sent automatically

  • Send existing visits as a note to Dynamics 365

  • Send existing Dealfront company comments as a note to Dynamics 365

Once the identified companies are connected you have the ability to create and send:

  • Tasks    

    • Title    

    • Owner        

    • Status

    • Priority  

    • Due date

  • Opportunity  

    • Title      

    • Owner        

    • Stage    

    • Expected Closing Date
