After you've successfully initiated your Zoho CRM connection, you can connect companies identified in Leadfeeder to existing Zoho CRM accounts, create new Zoho CRM accounts, and create tasks for Zoho CRM accounts – all from inside Leadfeeder itself!

Quick Links:

Connect a Company to Zoho CRM Manually

STEP 1: When you spot an identified company of interest to you in Leadfeeder, click into it to open the company information panel on the right.

STEP 2: You can connect the company as Account or Lead.

STEP 3: You can either create a new Zoho CRM account, or connect to an existing one.

After connecting an identified company with Zoho, you will see a new Note in Zoho, showing the account is created or connected. The Note will also have a link pointing to the company in the Dealfront app, as below, along with any new visits as they occur.

STEP 4: Once the lead is connected to a Zoho CRM account, you can create new Tasks or Deals in Leadfeeder.

Connect a Company to Zoho CRM Automatically

Instead of sending identified companies to your Zoho CRM manually, you can create a custom feed and set up automation to send matching companies to your CRM automatically.

This action relates to three Zoho activities: account, deal and a task both in an account and lead level.

STEP 1: Create a new Custom Feed, or Edit an existing one and click on the Automation tab.

STEP 2: Choose the Automation option Send to Zoho CRM and click Configure.

STEP 3: Choose whether Dealfront should send identified companies to Zoho CRM as accounts or leads.

You can use variables [company_name] (name of the Leadfeeder company) and [account_name] (name of the Leadfeeder lead) when sending Leadfeeder identified companies to your Zoho CRM with automation.

Send Identified Company to Zoho CRM as Accounts

Accounts

First define if you want the automation to create a new account for the given Leadfeeder identified company that matches to your custom feed criteria.

If unselected, the automation will only take into account the companies already connected to an account within your CRM when creating a new deal or a task.

Deal

Next, decide if you want to create a new deal for the account that Leadfeeder company is connected to (this account could be newly created if you chose to have the toggle on in the previous step).

If unselected, we will take only existing deals into account when creating the task.

Task

Lastly, choose whether you want to create a task. Your options here are dependent on whether you selected to create a new account and deal, or you chose only to take into account existing accounts and deals.

Please note: Automation will only process every identified company once, please consider this when setting up automation for tasks.

Send Identified Company to Zoho CRM as Leads

Lead

First, select if you want the automation to create a new lead for the given Leadfeeder identified company that matches to your custom feed criteria.

If unselected, the automation will only take into account the identified companies already connected to a lead within your CRM when creating a task.

Task

Now decide if you want to create a new task for the Zoho lead that the Leadfeeder identified company is now connected to (this account could be newly created if you chose to have the toggle on in the previous step).

Please note: Automation will only process every identified company once, please consider this when setting up automation for tasks.

STEP 5: After you have set up the desired rules, click Apply, then Add automation and finally Save.

This automation will now send matching companies from your custom feed to your CRM automatically.

--

Please note: When using automation to create accounts each company identified in the custom feed will prompt the chosen automation. This means that if one company is shown several times due to multiple locations the automation will create these as unique accounts. Different locations are seen as unique companies by Leadfeeder, but may appear as duplicates in your CRM.

Duplicates may also be created in the case of having automations set in feeds where a single company may meet the criteria for several feeds. For example if a custom feed looks for companies in the US and a separate custom feed looks for companies in the print industry, a company that visits and is in the US and the print industry may appear in BOTH custom feeds. If automations are set up for BOTH of those feeds a duplicate may be created in your CRM.
