What are Connected Lists?

Connected lists are automatically updated, dynamic lists of companies that qualify a specific criteria defined in a Leadfeeder custom feed.

Connected Lists allow you to automatically add companies showing up in a specific custom feed to the list and remove ones that are not relevant anymore.

Connected lists are currently updated once per day. This means that companies visiting your website on a given day will be added to the connected list on the next day.

Note: This feature is being rolled out in stages. If you don't see it yet, stay tuned!

How to create a Connected List?

Step 1: Pick a custom feed

  • Go to a custom feed of your choice using the sidebar or create a new one

  • Click on the "Create connected list" button

  • If the feed already has some connected lists set up, you can click on the connected lists summary shown below to see them or create a new one

  • Alternatively, you can always add connected lists by editing the feed and going to the Connected lists tab

Step 2: Define time interval

  • Once you are in the Connected Lists view, you need to define a time interval which would be considered for the connected list.

The time interval is the number of days since the last qualifying visit after which a company should be removed from the list.

Companies will remain in the connected list only if they have a visit qualifying for the custom feed within the defined time interval. New companies will be added automatically and older companies will be automatically removed from the list.

Connected lists are currently updated once per day.

  • For example, let's say a connected list is created on a feed that filters companies that visited on the pricing page. This means that a company will remain in the list only if they have visited the pricing page in the last 7 days. A company that visited the pricing page 8 days ago will be automatically removed from the list.

  • To define the time interval, enter the numeric number of days in the time interval field

Step 3: Add connected list

  • After entering the time interval of your choice, click on the "Add connected list" button.

Step 4: Save custom feed

  • Remember to save the custom feed to create the connected list.

How can I use Connected Lists?

There are several powerful use cases of Connected Lists that help you and your team act efficiently on the companies identified on your website by Leadfeeder.

These lists empower you to set up dynamic workflows that ensure you are always ahead of the game.

Retarget Companies

Connected Lists allow you to set up continuous retargeting campaigns that deliver ads to the most important companies in various stages of your sales or marketing pipeline.

Here's how you can leverage connected lists to build a workflow that works for your business 24x7:

  • Create custom feeds of companies that are engaging with your website and fit certain criteria relevant to you. This criteria can be:

    • Visited high-intent pages (like pricing page) 🔥

    • Downloaded an e-book from the website

    • Visited multiple pages/spent enough time on your website and matches your ICP 🔥

    • Companies with an ongoing deal in your CRM 🔥

    • Lost deals reactivating due to renewed interest

      ... and so on.

  • Once you have these custom feeds ready, create a Connected List for each feed. Set a time interval that fits your internal processes and pipelines. For example, 15 days.

  • Create a Promote campaign by using the Connected List as the target audience

  • Sit back and relax while Dealfront serves your ads to the most relevant companies using this workflow

Connected Lists can be used in Target for an advanced search that includes website behavior and any of several other filters available in Target to help you find the right list of prospects.
