Are you a data-lover? Or just want access to more information about your leads?
Integrating your email marketing platform with Leadfeeder will level up your sales and marketing strategy.
🚩 Here's why: Leadfeeder only allows you to see companies that visited your website, not the actual people. (This is due to privacy laws and also issues with self-identification — learn more here.)
By integrating Leadfeeder with your email list, you'll have access to the names and contact information of the actual people who visit your site if they are in your email list.
📌 Pro tip: Only admins of Leadfeeder can connect your email marketing to Leadfeeder.
What email programs does Leadfeeder integrate with?
Currently, Leadfeeder integrates with Mailchimp and ActiveCampaign. If you use another email provider, you can submit a feature request for consideration.

✏️ How to connect Leadfeeder to Active Campaign
Not a Mailchimp user? If you use Active Campaign, we've got you covered there, too. Here's how to connect Active Campaign and get access to even more beautiful data.
Step 1: Log in to Leadfeeder, then head to integrations. You'll see a list of available Leadfeeder integrations, including Slack, Salesforce, and even a few automation tools.
Select Active Campaign from the list:
Step 2: Now, you'll need to add your ActiveCampaign Instance URL, which will give Leadfeeder access to the data we need.
Just copy and paste your API Key into the right spot. If you're not sure how to find your API key, check out ActiveCampaigns Help Center Article.
Step 3: And now we wait. :) ActiveCampaign needs to sync with our system, and that can take a few minutes if you've got a large account.
Play a game of Two Dots, watch cat videos, or work on something else; whatever makes you happy.
Step 4: Once the sync is complete 🥳 , click "Edit ActiveCampaign Settings."
Make sure all your campaigns and mailing lists are showing up. (If they don't, try re-syncing.)
And you are done! See, that wasn't so bad, was it?
Now you'll be able to see email clicks within your Leadfeeder dashboard. (Sorry, we can't time travel, so you won't see past clicks!)
✨ Important to remember ✨
Remember, the ONLY way to see individual contacts (actual people, not companies) within Leadfeeder is by connecting to your email provider. Leadfeeder cannot identify people, only companies without email integration.
