Pro Seats are a part of the Dealfront Sales Intelligence solution. In this article we'll explain more about what they are and who needs one.

What Are Pro Seats?

A Pro Seat gives you access to the Dealfront Sales Intelligence apps of Target, Connect and Datacare.

In order to gain full access to these apps, and so make the most of the available data, it is necessary to have purchased:

  1. a subscription for the Dealfront Sales Intelliegnce solution

  2. the specific geos you want to find companies and contacts in

  3. a Pro Seat for every individual user

Please note: Pro Seats are not required for users of the Dealfront Web Visitors Intelligence solution.

How Can I Assign a Pro Seat?

You must have User Management Rights to be able to assign Pro Seats. There are two ways to assign a Pro Seat to a user:

1. When inviting a new user

Navigate to User Settings > Company > Users > Invite New User.

Fill in the new user's name, email address and set the Company and Account Access Rights you wish them to have. You can toggle whether or not to give them a Pro Seat at this point.

Please note: The Pro Seat toggle will automatically set to 'on' when adding a new user.

2. For existing users

Navigate to User Settings > Company > Users.

You can toggle Pro Seat on or off per user on the main Users page. You can also view how many Pro Seats you have used and have available in this view.

Alternatively, you can click into the individual user's Access Rights to both toggle their seat on or off and adjust any other permissions.

Please note: Pro Seats have nothing to do with the user's access rights. It's possible to enable the access rights, e.g. for Target, without assigning a Pro Seat and then assign the Pro Seat at a later date.

Pro Seats Notes

  • The number of Pro Seats available is defined by your subscription.

  • You cannot assign more Pro Seats than you have bought.

  • To purchase more Pro Seats, please contact your Account Manager or Customer Success Manager.

I have a legacy plan with Seats, will anything change?

If you are on a legacy Basic, Pro or Premium plan, previously you were required to purchase a seat for each user. Now, you are able to invite as many users as you would like on these plans at no extra cost. All users will have full access to Leadfeeder and Promote (if used).

It is only required to assign Pro Seats when using the Sales Intelligence solution.

I have an existing Sales Intelligence solution, do I need to change anything?

If you have an existing Sales Intelligence solution you don't need to do anything! Everything will be taken care of behind the scenes. We will automatically convert all Sales Intelligence solution Seats to Pro Seats.

I have a new Sales Intelligence solution, what do I need to do?

If you have a new Sales Intelligence solution you simply need to assign your Pro Seats to your new users!

If a user isn't assigned a Pro Seat they will have no or limited access to our valuable company and contact data.
