Pro Seats provide full access to Dealfront Target, Connect, and Datacare, while Leadfeeder users don’t require a Seat. Plus Seats offer limited search and data management features for users who don’t need full Target functionality. We detail everything in this article!
Quick Links:
What Are Seats?
Each user can have one of the following Seat types:
No Seat: Limited access, primarily for viewing identified Leadfeeder companies.
Plus Seat: Access to all companies and contacts with some restrictions.
Pro Seat: Full access, including advanced search and Target functionality.
Please note: Seats must be combined with a Target or Dealfront Platform subscription, and different users within an account may have different seat types or no seat assigned.
What Are Pro Seats?
A Pro Seat grants access to the Dealfront Target apps: Target, Connect, and Datacare. Users with a Pro Seat can:
Search for new prospects.
Access unrestricted company and contact data.
Use Target to its full extent.
A Pro Seat is required to use the Target app. Users without a Pro Seat cannot access Target.
What Are Plus Seats?
A Plus Seat provides access for users who do not require full Target functionality but still need to:
View and manage all companies and contacts.
Search within the platform (limited to company name, no Target access).
Export or sync data to CRM.
This is ideal for CRM users who need context but do not perform high-volume prospecting.
What Happens If a User Has No Seat?
Leadfeeder is accessible to all users without the need for Seats, allowing them to perform the following actions:
Have access to identified companies and contacts within Leadfeeder.
Can only export data, push to CRM, or retrieve contact details for identified companies.
Can only see contacts from companies already identified by Leadfeeder.
How Can I Assign a Seat?
You must have User Management Rights to be able to assign Pro Seats. There are two ways to assign a Pro Seat to a user:
1. When inviting a new user
Navigate to User Settings > Company > Users > Invite New User.
Fill in the new user's name, email address and set the Company and Account Access Rights you wish them to have. Choose the appropriate Seat Type (No Seat, Plus Seat, or Pro Seat) and send the invitation.
2. For existing users
Navigate to User Settings > Company > Users.
Then adjust any additional permissions as needed.
Please note:
You can only assign as many Plus or Pro Seats as your subscription allows. If you need more, please contact your Account Manager or Customer Success Manager or our Support Team at support@dealfront.com or via live chat.
Pro & Plus Seats have nothing to do with the user's access rights. It's possible to enable the access rights, e.g. for Target, without assigning a Pro Seat and then assign the Pro Seat at a later date.
For users with multiple accounts, Seats are assigned per account. They must first select the correct account (top left) to ensure proper access:
