How Does Dealfront Help to Uncover Opportunities from My Current Website Traffic?

Our tracking code, machine learning, and expansive databases come together to analyse your site visitors. Using domains, locations, IP addresses, and contacts, we can identify companies visiting your website, even if their employees work remotely.

To go on, make sure that you have installed the Website tracker on your website. This is the first step to get started. Learn how to install the tracking script in less than 5 minutes to continue with the next steps.

1. Generate Leads from Website Visitors

Tool: Leadfeeder

Identify companies browsing your website anonymously, monitor target accounts’ activity, and get notifications when your deals are active. See where visitors go, how long they stay on each page and any actions they take.

  • Go to Leadfeeder

  • Create a new Custom feed to filter down your ICP visiting the website, e.g. company country, industry and employee count

The Custom feeds feature within Leadfeeder is a way of segmenting your visitors based on their online behaviour. Learn how to create Custom Feeds here.

2. Spot Buying Intent from Target Accounts

Tools: Leadfeeder | Target | Connect

When it comes to sales outreach, timing is everything. Once you've created a Custom feed of target accounts in Leadfeeder, you can use the Target tool to refine the list further and Connect to identify buying intent signals for these companies.

  • Go to Leadfeeder

  • Open the Custom feed you created in step 1 and add these companies to a List

  • Now, you need to switch to Target. The app has many powerful filters you can combine to find your ideal customers in just a few clicks. Go to Target and start a search.

  • Add a Filter by Company List first

  • Select the List you just saved from your custom feed and include (+) it to your search

  • Then choose from a combination of more than 100 unique filters to refine the list of companies that you want to reach out to the most

  • Save this search and add the companies to a List

  • Go to Connect

  • Navigate to the ICP List you just created in Target. You can find the "list" icon at the top left of the Connect screen

  • Go to the "Signals on this list" tab, expand the "Selected Signal Types" and choose the specific Sales Trigger(s) you want to follow for this list

  • Go to the "News on this list" tab, choose whether to filter by news about or by the company, and whether you're looking for online sources or social media

  • Under each tab you will now be able to see the information you have requested, enabling you to reach out at the exact right moment.

You can also get alerted on these signals, take a look at this article on Sales Prospecting with Dealfront to read more about alerts.

3. Get Notified of Visit Activity on Your Website

Tools: Leadfeeder | CRM Integration

Now that you know who is coming to your website, our Leadfeeder tool enables you to be automatically notified about visit activity on your website. The seamless integration with your CRM and Dealfront ensures that all information is automatically synced, empowering you to personalise your outreach. Learn more about how to connect your CRM to Dealfront here.

  • Go to Leadfeeder

  • Open your chosen Custom feed

  • Click Edit feed and then choose the "Automation" option and add a new automation to the feed, for example, "Send to [CRM]" - this could say Pipedrive/Hubspot/Salesforce, etc.

You will then receive notifications about new visits to your website directly into your CRM at the frequency you select: When new companies appear, Daily or Weekly.

4. Reach Out to Key Decision Makers

Tools: Leadfeeder | Target

Once you know which companies are coming to your website, you then need to engage with key decision makers at these companies. The Target tool enables you to instantly access names, job titles, departments, emails, and direct dials of key stakeholders.

  • If you haven't already from the previous steps, save a Custom feed from Leadfeeder as a List

  • Go to Target and start a search

  • Add a Filter by Company List first

  • Select the List you just saved from your custom feed and include (+) it to your search

  • Find the right contact persons and decision-makers within your target companies by using powerful contact filters

Target will now display all the contacts available based on your criteria, ready for your to reach out to.

5. Retarget Your Hot Leads

Tools: Leadfeeder | Promote

Keep your brand or product top-of-mind with display advertising campaigns targeted at open deals, nurtured leads, and prospects. With our Promote tool, you can create highly targeted brand or product awareness campaigns with precision.

  • Choose a List of companies you created from a Custom feed in Leadfeeder as your target company list
